In experiments conducted in 1974 at Cherkassi, in the Kovel' section of the L'vov railway (USSR), repellent creams including the preparations deet (DETA), anti-komarin (a mixture of deet and N,N-diethyl-2-phenoxyacetamide), repeftal and tom lotions of deet (40%), anti-komarin and repeftal and a 25% emulsion cream of deet were tested against deet in amounts of 3-5 g cream and 5-7 ml lotion.
