, : Results of the forest inventory in 1970/71 and the timber production forecast. Forstwissenschaftliches Centralblatt 96(1): 3-17

In Jan. 1971, farm forests (<100 ha) in Bavaria contained a growing stock of 223 million m3 (44% of the total growing stock volume) and made up 45% of the total forest area. In these forests, spruce and pine made up 53% and 31%, respectively, by area or 61% and 27%, respectively, by volume. Young stands made up more than an average proportion of the stock.
