Results of the control of bovine tuberculosis in the Netherlands for the period November 1975 to October 1976

, : Results of the control of bovine tuberculosis in the Netherlands for the period November 1975 to October 1976. Tijdschrift voor Diergeneeskunde 102(17): 1051

During the year under review, 1.3 million cattle were tuberculin tested in the 11 Dutch provinces (total cattle population 4.1 million). 10 294 (0.7%) reacted to the single tuberculin test and were retested by the double comparative test, with the result that 9557 were negative, 585 gave a non-specific reaction, 142 gave a doubtful reaction and ten were positive. These ten came from seven herds in which positive reactors had been slaughtered during previous years.
