The survey covered 1734 females at 20 farms. 12 farms practised only AI. The CRs to 1st service ranged, between farms, from 39.19 to 67.75%. Overal CRs for females in 1st, 2nd-5th, or later lactations resp. were 62.28, 58.58 and 57.26%. The av. CR was higher in summer (70.67%) than in other seasons (53.63-54.33%).
