, : Results of the sugar beet variety trials carried out in Belgium from 1974 till 1976. Publication Trimestrielle, Institut Belge pour l' Amelioration de la Betterave 45(2): 45-95

In field trials in 1976 at 6 locations in Belgium, root yield of 46 sugar beet cultivars averaged 74.06 t/ha and ranged from 79.8 t for Buramo to 63.0 t for Sonate; sugar yield averaged 11.38 t/ha. Data on height of crown above the soil, speed of ground covering, germination rate and industrial quality are tabulated.
