, : Results of the use of selection in breeding mulberry. Gradinarska i Lozarska Nauka 13(3): 37-43

To obtain new varieties, individual selection was carried out during 1960-63 for shape, size, compactness and colour of the leaves, length of the internodes and shoot growth. The initial material consisted of hybrid families of Bulgarian and Soviet origin and clones of some varieties grown in Bulgaria. Brief descriptions are given of the forms with the most useful biological and economic characters, viz.
