Results of trials to determine the selectivity factor for application rates of several potato herbicides according to cultivar, climate and soil conditions in Romania

, : Results of trials to determine the selectivity factor for application rates of several potato herbicides according to cultivar, climate and soil conditions in Romania. Wissenschaftliche Beitrage der Martin Luther Universitat Halle Wittenberg (10 (P1)): 30-42

In trials in 1969-70 at 5 sites, the minimum rates of application of prometryne, ametryne, desmetryne and metobromuron to give effective weed control and the highest rates tolerated by 7 potato cultivars were determined. Cultivar Ostara showed considerable tolerance to desmetryne and ametryne, whereas Colina was sensitive, particularly to ametryne.
