Results of trials with irrigated soyabean

, : Results of trials with irrigated soyabean. Novenytermeles 25(4): 359-368

In a trial in 1973, 14 soyabean grown without irrigation gave yields ranging from 2.31 t seed/ha in ISz-8 to 3.37 t in Traverse. With irrigation yields ranged from 2.44 t in Norman to 3.76 t in GSz-3. Further trials carried out in 1974-5 indicated that the best for growing under irrigation were Merit, GSz-3 and Wilkin. Irrigation increased seed CP content by 3-3.5% and oil content by 1.5-2.0%.
