Results of variety trials with plums

, : Results of variety trials with plums. Sbornik UVTI, Zahradnictvi 1(4)(3): 169-181

Growth, flowering, fruiting and fruit quality were compared in 11 cvs grown on both vegetatively propagated and seedling rootstocks. Domaci Svestka was the most valuable cv., but it ripens late and at higher altitudes should be replaced by Wangenheim, which ripens 3 weeks earlier and is very productive.
