The use of semi-complete feeds (TFM, containing e.g. 45% straw, 25% dried grass, 15% partially-extracted sugar-beet pulp, 9.8% crushed cereal meal, 1.0% Mileipan, 1.7% urea and 2.5% mineral mixture) was investigated in an individual feeding experiment on 16 cows.
