Results on fodder production in tropical humid regions. (Case of central Ivory Coast)

, : Results on fodder production in tropical humid regions. (Case of central Ivory Coast). Note de Synthese, Institut d' Elevage et de Medecine Veterinaire des Pays Tropicaux (6): 73

The possible levels of improvement that may be reached in the intensification of tropical animal production are discussed with reference to investigations carried out in central Ivory Coast. The lowest level involves improved management with special reference to burning while a greater level of improvement is given by the introduction of high-quality fodder species and control of poor-quality species.
