In in vitro tests the min. inhibitory conc. of BAY b 5097 after 14 days was 1-8 mu g/ml for Coccidiodes immitis (4 strs.), Cladosporium trichoides (1), C. carrionii (1), Phialophora compacta (1), P. jeanselmei (1), P. pedrosoi (1), and Histoplasma duboisii (1), 5-10 mu g/ml for Cryptoccocus neoformans (20, >10 mu g/ml for Sporothrix schenckii (4), 100 mu g/ml for Basidiobolus meristosporus (2), 1 mu g/ml for 1 str. of B. ranarum and 100 mu g/ml for another str.
