Results are presented of fungicide trials on the apple cvs Golden Delicious, Cox's Orange Pippin and Jonathan in West Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. Kumulan (nitrotal-isopropyl + wettable S) applied pre-flowering at 2.1 kg and during and after flowering at 1.5 kg a.i./ha gave good control of Podosphaera leucotricha infection when applied every 8-12 days. It was more effective than wettable S, dinocap, binapacryl, pyrazophos and bupirimate and as effective as ditalimfos and triadimefon.
