A total of 70 piglets weaned early had diets with different protein contents, supplied mainly by casein with dried skimmed milk or isolated soya protein with or without dried skimmed milk. In whole body at 4 and 11 kg liveweight Ca was 2.5 and 2.9, P 1.7 and 1.9, Mg 0.09 and 0.10 and Na 0.49 and 0.44 g/100 g DM. Milk protein increased all values; soya had little effect.
