Retropharyngeal fibrosarcoma in a dog

A 21-year-old Alsation dog, admitted as a respiratory emergency after dysphagia, was placed under observation for 6 weeks. Upon operation a fibrosarcoma was found in the connective tissue of the posterior pharyngeal region.
