, : Retrospective comparison of two surgical techniques for correction of angular deformities in foals. Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association 172(3): 281-286

Thirty-three foals were examined at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine between May 1974 to November 1976 with angular deformities of limbs. A total of 55 joints were treated using either a staple or a screw and wire technique as a temporary epiphyseal bridge; details of both techniques are given.
