Retrospective diagnosis of avian infectious bronchitis, with reference to erythrocytic antigen for the passive haemagglutination test

, : Retrospective diagnosis of avian infectious bronchitis, with reference to erythrocytic antigen for the passive haemagglutination test. Veterinariya, Moscow, USSR (8): 112-114

A technique for the preparation of a standardized antigen for diagnosis of infectious bronchitis by the indirect haemagglutination reaction (IH) is described: the virus was adsorbed to ram erythrocytes, treated with acrolein and tannin. The activity and specificity of the antigen was tested on fowl and rabbit serum.
