, : Return of nutrient elements to the soil with leaf fall in deciduous and mixed forest on loose sandy soils. Roczniki Gleboznawcze 25(3): 237-245

Reports the quantity and chemical composition of the leaf fall over 12 months in 1970-71 in three stands differing in composition and moisture status near Torun, Poland. Data are included on soil characteristics and stand composition and structure. The annual litter production of 4 tons dry matter/ha contained 45 kg N, 4 kg P and 10 kg K (190 kg total ash elements).
