Returns to service, embryonic mortality and lambing performance of ewes with one and two ovulations

, : Returns to service, embryonic mortality and lambing performance of ewes with one and two ovulations. Sheep breeding Proceedings of the 1976 International Congress, Muresk and Perth, Western Australia, August 1976: 418-423

Data drawn from several experiments in which the ovulation rate in the first 17 days of mating was recorded either by laparoscopy or slaughter of the ewes between days 22-35 of pregnancy were used to examine the effect of number of ovulations (1 v 2) and position of ovulation (left v right ovary) on returns to service, embryonic mortality and lambing performance.
