, : Reverin R in combination with Berenil R, a chemotherapeutic agent with a wide spectrum. Blue Book for the Veterinary Profession (26): 193-199

A 1:2 combination of Berenil (4,4'-diamidino-diazoaminobenzol diaceturate) and Reverin (pyrrolidinomethyl tetracycline) was tested against Babesia rodhaini in mice, B. canis in dogs, Trypanosoma congolense and T. brucei in mice, Aegyptianella pullorum in fowl and Anaplasma marginale in cattle. The toxicity of the 2 compounds was not altered by combination, the combination was well tolerated and the activity of each was undiminished and, in some cases, potentiated.
