Reversal of EPTC induced fatty acid synthesis inhibition

, : Reversal of EPTC induced fatty acid synthesis inhibition. Weed Science 23(2): 90-92

See also WA 24, 186. In the present study, EPTC, 1,8-naphthalic anhydride, N,N-diallyl-2,2-dichloroacetamide (R-25 788), allidochlor and sulfallate at concns. of 10-5 M inhibited the incorporation of 14C-1-acetate into fatty acids of isolate spinach (Spinacia oleracea) chloroplasts. At lower concn., none of the chemicals affected acetate incorporation into fatty acids.
