Reverse mutation at the ligule-less locus (li) of barley

, : Reverse mutation at the ligule-less locus (li) of barley. Barley Genetics Newsletter 5: 21-23

Information is presented showing that (1) isolleles exist of liguleless (li) mutants, (2) treatment with mutagens, especially ethyl methanesulphonate, promotes reversion to the ligulate condition; and (3) the reversion is due to a single dominant mutation at the li locus.
