This report by the OECD Working Party on Agricultural Policies constitutes the first exercise of a new procedure in the Programme of Work for a regular policy analysis which is to emphasize current issues and developments in Member countries' agricultural policies. It centres on the interpretation of policy responses between the beginning of 1974 and the end of 1976 to a series of severe disturbances beginning in 1972.
