, : Review of available automatic instruments for the routine analysis of milk and the criteria for their selection. IFST Proceedings 9(3): 113-121

The principles involved in the different methods of milk analysis are discussed and the salient features of both manual and automatic instrument tabulated. The instruments covered include the Infra Red Milk Analyser, Automatic Milko-Tester and Automatic Pro-Milk. Evaluation criteria are given in order to assess the usefulness of the instruments for automatic routine analysis of milk.
