Review of current aspects of canine brucellosis testing

, : Review of current aspects of canine brucellosis testing. Proceedings of the 18th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians: 121-134

Comparison of the tube test, the slide test, and cultural isolation, using 27 experimentally infected dogs, showed that the slide test and cultural isolation are more rapid in the detection of canine brucellosis than is the tube test. A total of 415 human sera were tested by the slide test and either the Cornell or Veterinary Services Laboratories tube test.
