Part II (Hymenochaetaceae, Ganodermataceae and Polyporaceae s. str.) has already appeared in the same journal (1976) 25 (4), 316-321. Part III lists 55 species of Poriaceae, with notes on host trees (living or dead) especially Larix dahurica The distribution and ecology of the Polyporaceae (s.l.) in Yakutia are discussed. Out of a total of 70 species, only 10 were found in the tundra woodland zone, compared with 13 and 19 respectively at the Verkhoyansk and Oimyakon frost poles.
