Survival of reniform nematodes in desiccated soils

, : Survival of reniform nematodes in desiccated soils. Journal of Nematology 8(4): 278

The results of experiments on storing Rotylenchus reniformis in pineapple soil in Hawaii show that dry fallow for 12 to 15 months effects a decrease in the population to low levels, but that a high population survives during the one to 4 months when the land is being prepared and planted.
