The adaptive strategies of tropical rain-forest plants: a review

, : The adaptive strategies of tropical rain-forest plants: a review. Investigaciones sobre la regeneracion de selvas altas en Veracruz, Mexico: 566-578

The author reviews the principal hypotheses on the problem of diversity of species postulated by various authors on the basis of ecological studies of tropical rain forests, discusses in relation to life cycles the possible adaptive strategies of plants in these forests, and concludes that with every species there exists a complicated network of strategies in reciprocal action.
