The effect of sowing date and temperature on the water uptake of French beans


, : The effect of sowing date and temperature on the water uptake of French beans. Agrartudomanyi Egyetem Kozlemenyei 1975: 111-122

In pot experiments the bean Fullcrop was sown on 7 dates each year between May and July and was once-over harvested between July and September. A close positive correlation was found between water uptake and mean daily temperature. The correlation was affected by the season and plant age.
