The effects of soil texture on species diversity in an arid grassland of the eastern Great Basin

, : The effects of soil texture on species diversity in an arid grassland of the eastern Great Basin. Great Basin Naturalist 33(3): 163-168

In a study of vegetation and soil physical properties in the Great Salt Lake State Park it was concluded that soil texture had the most influence upon plant diversity. Loamy soils consistently supported more species than adjacent sands.
