The occurrence of the cabbage gall midge (Dasineura brassicae Winn.) north of the Harz Mountains

, : The occurrence of the cabbage gall midge (Dasineura brassicae Winn.) north of the Harz Mountains. Nachrichtenblatt des Deutschen Pflanzenschutzdienstes 28(9): 136-140

It is shown from observations in the field in 1971-75 that the first flight period of Dasineura brassicae (Winn.) in the area north of the Harz Mountains, West Germany, starts during early May, with a maximum from the end of May to the beginning of June. Adults of the second generation appear after an interval, with a maximum from the end of June until the beginning of July.
