, : The occurrence of thymol in some Arnica species. Planta Medica 31(4): 311-314

The content of thymol increased in the rhizomes and roots of Arnica parryi and A. sacchalinensis from 0.9% to 7.8% and 0.6% to 6.8%, respectively, of the essential oil, depending on the duration of storage. There was a corresponding fall in the content of isobutyl-thymyl ester.
