Variation in soybean yield components in relation to genotype and productivity level

, : Variation in soybean yield components in relation to genotype and productivity level. Dissertation Abstracts International, B 36(7): 3154-3155

In a 3-yr trial with 6 soyabean lines differing in growth habit, canopy type, seed size and number of seeds/pod, variation in seed yield/plant was associated most with number of pods, the variation in pod number resulting from variation in number of pods/node and number of nodes, the former having the greatest effect.
