A preliminary review of Pteromalidae (Hymenoptera) of India and adjacent countries

, : A preliminary review of Pteromalidae (Hymenoptera) of India and adjacent countries. Oriental Insects 12(4): 433-468

This review is concerned with the Pteromalidae (understood to include the Cleonyminae, Miscogastrinae, Eunotinae and Spalangiinae) of the Indian subcontinent (Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma and Sri Lanka). An updated annotated list of these pteromalids is presented, with comments on various taxa and new host and distribution records. Of the 82 genera, 56 contain a total of 86 identified species; for the other 26 genera, identifications could not be made to specific level.
