Achievements and prospects in the breeding of new tomato varieties

, : Achievements and prospects in the breeding of new tomato varieties. Lucrari Stiintifice, Institutul Agronomic "N Balcescu", Horticultura1976 1978; 18/19: 41-44

Of nine lines for greenhouse cultivation compared with Moneydor in 1975, L268, L267c, L267a and L233 yielded 4-14% more in the first production cycle and all the lines 12-92% more in the second cycle. L272 and L254 produced 77 and 19% more than Export II. Single-fruit weight was between 49 and 120 g in the lines.
