Analysis of cavitation noise from the power spectral density

, : Analysis of cavitation noise from the power spectral density. Trudy LSKhA (111): 3-6

The results are given of a study of cavitation noise in the operation of the distribution valve of the power steering unit of a tractor. It was found that the cavitation intensity is increased with higher flow rates of the working fluid and reduced at increasing air content (up to 15%). The frequency of variation of the cavitation cavity was 2-25 Hz.
