Auriculotherapy (stimulation of sensitive areas of the auricle) in the dog. Review and experimental data

, : Auriculotherapy (stimulation of sensitive areas of the auricle) in the dog. Review and experimental data. Revue de Medecine Veterinaire 130(11): 1499-1500, 1503-1510

The literature is reviewed, and diagrams of the ear of the dog, showing reflex points corresponding to different organs of the body, as published by several authorities, are presented. In the experience of the authors the technique, as at present understood, is best used for the treatment of pain, from whatever source, and in functional disorders and allergic phenomena.
