Ballad: Six years' operation of a test farm for nitrogenous fertilizers in Drenthe, run by the Brink brothers at Vries

, : Ballad: Six years' operation of a test farm for nitrogenous fertilizers in Drenthe, run by the Brink brothers at Vries. Stikstof 8(88): 125-136

This little ballad, in melodious rhyme,Tells of a farm where in quite a short timeCows raised their yield by thousand kgFrom five zero six zero to six zero eight three.Using more nitrogen per hectare of fieldAccounted for much of this increase in yield. On grass so much lusher and sweeter than beforeThe cows were in clover and ate more and more.Because of all this effort and troubleThe farm's milk output went up almost double.Milk fat increased, protein as well;Within six years, results were swell,As cash flowed in and milk flowed out(Though '76 brought problems of drought). All this goes to show: to keep your income rising,Take good advice and keep on fertilizing.

Selective blockade of anandamide hydrolysis, through the inhibition of the FAAH enzyme, has anticonvulsant effects, which are mediated by CB1 receptors. Anandamide, however, also activates TRPV1 channels, generally with an opposite outcome on neur...
