Of 17 lines susceptible to Peronospora hyoscyami, the best were Samsoum Dere and Samsoum Maden, Bega 143, Bega T905, Perushchitsa Abruzzo and Perushchitsa Gigante Of 15 other lines, Erzegovina 5-94P5 had good resistance to P. hyoscyami and satisfactory quality.
