Compound autosomes and compound; free-arm combinations for the genetic control of insect populations

, : Compound autosomes and compound; free-arm combinations for the genetic control of insect populations. Proceedings of the North Central Branch of the Entomological Society of America 1979; 33: 17-18

The genetic method of insect control based on the concepts of population replacement with chromosomal rearrangements and population control using conditional factors is discussed. Two types of chromosomal rearrangement, compound autosomes and compound:free-arm combinations, have been tested for their population replacement capabilities.
