Considerations in the planning of refrigeration plants (chilled water plants) with heat recovery

, : Considerations in the planning of refrigeration plants (chilled water plants) with heat recovery. Deutsche Molkerei Zeitung 100(20): 746-748

Consideration is given to heat recovery from refrigeration plants producing chilled water (+1 deg C) for use in dairies or breweries. Diagrams show energy balances when using the refrigeration plant as such, and when using it together with a heat recovery system, with an electric motor or internal combustion engine providing the motive power.
