, : Effects of irrigation and nitrogen on a natural pasture sward. Canadian Journal of Plant Science 58(2): 347-356

In a study of the irrigation and N requirements of a natural pasture sward on a sandy loam soil at Charlottetown, the av. soil m.c. in irrigated plots was found to be 92 and 94% of field capacity at 0-15 cm and 15-30 cm soil depth, resp. Without irrigation, corresponding values were 77 and 82%, resp. Av.
