Effects of lime and phosphate fertilizer on the yield of wheat and on available phosphorus in four types of soil in Santa Catarina State

, : Effects of lime and phosphate fertilizer on the yield of wheat and on available phosphorus in four types of soil in Santa Catarina State. Agronomia Sulriograndense 15(1): 1-13

In field trials in 1970 on 4 types of acid soils, wheat was given 0, 100, 200 or 300 kg P2O5/ha with or without lime calculated to increase the soil pH to 6.5. On 3 of the 4 soil types liming increased yield, while P increased yields on all soils, with the level of applied P2O5 calculated to give highest yields ranging from 180 to 267 kg/ha.
