Effects of micronutrient sources and rates on 'Hetzi' Japanese holly in containers

, : Effects of micronutrient sources and rates on 'Hetzi' Japanese holly in containers. Research Report, Agricultural Experiment Station, Oklahoma State University (P-777): 27-29

Plants of Ilex crenata Hetzi were grown with 4 micronutrient fertilizers (Perk, FTE 503, FTE 504 and Esmigran), containing S, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B, Mb and Cl, applied at 3 rates. Controls received base NPK fertilizer only. Growth ratings indicated a high Fe requirement which was fulfilled by all rates (2, 4 and 6 lb/yd3) of Perk and (to a lesser extent) Esmigran, and the medium and high rates (0.5 and 1 lb/yd3) of FTE 503 and FTE 504.
