Efficiency of sire evaluation methods in dairy cattle

, : Efficiency of sire evaluation methods in dairy cattle. Thesis Abstracts, Haryana Agricultural University 5(1): 24

The efficiency of 9 methods of sire evaluation was estimated for 39 Tharparkar sires, each having more than or equal to 5 daughters, using data on age at 1st calving, 1st-lactation milk yield and 1st calving interval for 559 daughter-dam pairs.
