Ground water potentialities in Egypt

, : Ground water potentialities in Egypt. Water development and management: proceedings of the United Nations Water Conference, Mar del Plata, Argentina, March 1977 Water Development, Supply and Management Series: Volume 1 (Part 4, E/CONF. 70/ABSTRACT 18): 1787

The ground water in the Egyptian deserts is the only source of water for the area and thus all development activities in these deserts depend entirely upon groundwater resources. Proper development of the groundwater reservoir is essential. A safe yield will depend mainly on the rate of mining and head decline.
