Growth in Irish agriculture: fact or fiction?

, : Growth in Irish agriculture: fact or fiction?. Irish Banking Review (September): 14-25

Various trends in Irish agriculture are discussed. The decision to join the EEC has resulted in significant increases in farm income. Output development trends are complex; there have been sharp annual fluctuations, but the situation is expected to become more orderly. Growth in net output has also been subject to fluctuations, and it is these wide year-to-year changes that have caused the difference in views about the "true" agricultural growth rate.
