Since the humerus is surrounded by a large number of tendons and muscles, there are a number of devices ensuring better venous outflow from the bone, namely the output of the extra-organic veins of the bone in the region of the synovial fossae through the cavities of the joints and bursae, and also into the fatty tissue of the ulnar and pastern fossae.
