, : Laboratory studies of flight activity of grain weevils (Sitophilus spp.). Proceedings of the North Central Branch of the Entomological Society of America 1979; 33: 33-34

Laboratory studies were carried out on the flight activity of Sitophilus spp., which are important pests of stored grain. A population of S. zeamais Motsch. was used for the tests, which were carried out in flight cages at 27 plus or minus 1 deg C and 67 plus or minus 3% RH, using various light:dark regimes.
