For Charolais X (Dutch Black Pied X Czech Pied) bulls and heifers (6/group) and 8 Czech Pied bulls, birth weight averaged 38.5, 35.3 and 32.4 kg resp., body weight 199.2, 165.2 and 180.6 kg at the beginning of fattening and 559.5, 462.7 and 539.5 kg at the end, and daily gain 862, 715 and 828 g during rearing, 1144, 930 and 1127 g during fattening, and 1038, 851 and 1011 g from birth to the end of fattening.
